The Tate contacted us to see about the possibility of borrowing Dorothy Mead’s Model Resting, 1965 for their upcoming exhibition All Too Human.

The proposed exhibition surveys a hundred years of painting, featuring the interchanges between painters and highlighting the inclination of the ‘School of London’ artists to depict the personal and immediate in their practices. Works by David Bomberg, Frank Auerbach and Dennis Creffield will be included in the upcoming exhibition underlining the use of the life model as a means for learning and individuality.
